Animation as Digital Resource for Teaching and Learning
In today’s evolving educational landscape, teaching methodologies have transcended traditional classroom settings. The integration of technology in education has ushered in innovative approaches that support the holistic development of learners. One powerful tool making waves in this arena is animation. This dynamic resource not only enhances the comprehension of complex concepts but also makes learning more engaging and enjoyable for students. By providing visual representations of various topics, animation transforms the learning experience into something vibrant and effective.
The Power of Animation in Education
The popularity of animation in education is rapidly increasing due to its ability to simplify and clarify intricate ideas. Whether it’s explaining a scientific process or illustrating a historical event, animated videos bring subjects to life, making them more accessible and interesting for students. This blend of entertainment and education through animated eLearning videos particularly appeals to today’s tech-savvy students, who often prefer concise, informative, and engaging content over traditional lectures.
To empower educators and stakeholders with the skills necessary to harness the potential of animation in teaching, CIET-NCERT is organizing a five-day online training program titled “Animation as Digital Resource for Teaching and Learning.” This training will be conducted from 16th to 20th September 2024 (English version) and from 23rd to 27th September 2024 (Hindi version), from 4:00 pm to 5:00 pm each day.
