CBSE Exam : सीबीएसई ने जन्मतिथि लिखने के पैटर्न में किया बदलाव, स्कूलों को निर्देश जारी

शुक्रवार को जारी अधिसूचना के अनुसार, अब छात्रों को अपनी जन्मतिथि अंक में और जन्म महीना अक्षरों में लिखना होगा। उदाहरण के तौर पर, अगर किसी छात्र की जन्मतिथि 1 फरवरी 2005 है, तो उसे 01-FEB-2005 के रूप में लिखना होगा। 01-02-2005 लिखा गया फॉर्मेट अब स्वीकार्य नहीं होगा। यह नया पैटर्न न केवल रजिस्ट्रेशन के लिए बल्कि परीक्षा आवेदन पत्र और प्रमाणपत्रों में भी लागू होगा।

बोर्ड के इस फैसले पर सीबीएसई से संबद्ध स्कूलों के संगठन ‘सहोदया’ के सतीश कुमार ने कहा कि पहले सभी अंकों में जन्मतिथि दर्ज करने से कई बार भ्रम की स्थिति उत्पन्न होती थी। दिन और महीने के अंक एक जैसे दिखने से गलतफहमियां होती थीं। अब इस नए फॉर्मेट के तहत इन परेशानियों का समाधान हो जाएगा।

साथ ही, इस साल बोर्ड ने एक और महत्वपूर्ण बदलाव किया है—रजिस्ट्रेशन के बाद छात्रों की जानकारी में कोई भी बदलाव नहीं किया जा सकेगा। पहले, परीक्षा से पहले तक स्कूल छात्रों या उनके अभिभावकों के अनुरोध पर नाम और जन्मतिथि में सुधार कर सकते थे, लेकिन अब बोर्ड ने आदेश दिया है कि परीक्षा के परिणाम घोषित होने के बाद ही किसी तरह का संशोधन किया जा सकेगा।

बोर्ड के इन नए नियमों से अब रजिस्ट्रेशन और परीक्षा प्रक्रिया में पारदर्शिता और सटीकता सुनिश्चित होगी।

Online Training on “Cyber Parenting”

The National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 strongly emphasizes the integration of cyber safety education into school curriculums, recognizing its critical role in equipping students with the digital literacy skills needed for safe and responsible internet use. As we move through an era of rapid digital transformation, cultivating awareness about Cyber Parenting becomes increasingly essential. Cyber Parenting is vital in our technology-driven society, promoting a sustainable and harmonious relationship between humans and technology. It not only safeguards the well-being of children in the digital age but also contributes to a balanced and secure future for all.

The importance of cyber parenting training in today’s digital world cannot be overstated. This training equips parents with the essential knowledge and skills to protect their children from various online threats, including cyberbullying, online predators, and exposure to inappropriate content. By fostering open communication, setting clear boundaries, and encouraging responsible online behavior, cyber parenting training ensures that children can explore the digital world in a safe and positive manner. Also, it empowers parents to stay informed about the rapidly evolving digital landscape, allowing them to effectively navigate new challenges and technologies. This proactive approach helps parents not only protect their children but also instill in them the values and practices necessary for responsible digital citizenship. All in all, cyber parenting training is about fostering a healthy, balanced, and informed relationship with technology, ensuring that children grow up in a digital world that is both exciting and safe while also preparing them to become responsible and thoughtful digital citizens in the future.

As part of the online training series on ‘ Cyber Safety and Security’, for the month September, 2024 CIET-NCERT in collaboration with ISEA, CDAC, MeitY, Hyderabad is organising a five-hours online training on “Cyber Parenting” from September 2 – 6, 2024 in English version and September 9 – 13, 2024 in Hindi version from 4.00 pm – 5.00 pm, to enhance the understanding of teachers, students, teacher official educators, and various stakeholders. The online training will be live on NCERT YouTube Channel- https://www.youtube.com/c/NCERTOFFICIAL and also be simulcast through PMeVidya DTH TV Channels numbered #6-12 and Jio TV mobile app.

Objectives :

After completion of the training series, the learner will be able to:

understand the policies and viewpoints surrounding Cyber Parenting.
recognize the necessity of Cyber Parenting.
grasp the key elements of Cyber Parenting.
identify strategies for managing relationships between parents and children in the digital environment.

Step: 3 Take up the online course, participate in post assessment and get certified:

Join the online course that will be launched on DIKSHA portal. Course link : <Link will be updated on the event page on the last day of the training by 7 pm>. This course will be open till 30 March, 2025.
Join the course, go through all the five videos.
Take up the final assessment in the course. You can attempt the assessment only thrice.
If you score 70% and above in the final assessment, you will get a certificate. You can access your certificate in your DIKSHA profile page itself. It may take 15-20 days to receive the certificate.
If there is any problem in portal, raise your complaint in teacher help in the DIKSHA portal

Relative Grading Explained : सीबीएसई ने कक्षा 10वीं और 12वीं की परीक्षाओं में विषयवार ग्रेड देने के लिए ‘रिलेटिव ग्रेडिंग’ प्रणाली अपनाई है

सीबीएसई ने कक्षा 10वीं और 12वीं की परीक्षाओं में विषयवार ग्रेड देने के लिए ‘रिलेटिव ग्रेडिंग’ प्रणाली अपनाई है। यह प्रणाली पहले से प्रचलित है, जिसकी सूचना सर्कुलर संख्या CBSE/CE/Coord/2021 दिनांक 25 फरवरी 2021 द्वारा दी जा चुकी है। इस सूचना में उसी सर्कुलर की जानकारी दोहराई जा रही है।

रिलेटिव ग्रेडिंग क्या है?

रिलेटिव ग्रेडिंग एक वैज्ञानिक पद्धति है, जिसमें छात्रों को पहले से तय किए गए अंक सीमा (जैसे 91-100, 81-90) के आधार पर ग्रेड नहीं दिए जाते, बल्कि उस समूह में छात्रों की तुलना की जाती है, जिसमें वे आते हैं। इससे विभिन्न विषयों के लिए अलग-अलग ग्रेड दिए जाते हैं, जो उस विषय में उत्तीर्ण हुए छात्रों की संख्या पर आधारित होते हैं।

ग्रेड देने की प्रक्रिया:

उत्तीर्ण छात्रों को उनकी अंक सूची में कुल 8 समूहों में विभाजित कर ग्रेड दिए जाते हैं:

ग्रेड	समूह में स्थान
A1	शीर्ष 1/8 छात्र
A2	अगले 1/8 छात्र
B1	अगले 1/8 छात्र
B2	अगले 1/8 छात्र
C1	अगले 1/8 छात्र
C2	अगले 1/8 छात्र
D1	अगले 1/8 छात्र
D2	अगले 1/8 छात्र
E	आवश्यक पुनःपरीक्षा

महत्वपूर्ण बातें:

ग्रेड देने के लिए छात्रों को रैंक ऑर्डर में रखा जाता है।
जहां आवश्यक हो, समान अंक पाने वाले छात्रों को एक ही ग्रेड दिया जाता है।
500 से अधिक छात्रों वाले विषयों में यह पद्धति लागू होती है। यदि किसी विषय में 500 से कम छात्र हैं, तो उस विषय के समान अन्य विषयों के पैटर्न पर ग्रेडिंग की जाती है।

उदाहरण:

हिंदी विषय में 159052 छात्र पास हुए, इनमें से शीर्ष 1/8 छात्रों (लगभग 19882 छात्र) को A1 ग्रेड मिलेगा, अगले 19882 छात्रों को A2 ग्रेड मिलेगा और इसी तरह आगे बढ़ते हुए D2 तक ग्रेड दिए जाएंगे।

इतिहास विषय में 158585 छात्र पास हुए, इनमें से शीर्ष 1/8 छात्रों (लगभग 19824 छात्र) को A1 ग्रेड मिलेगा।

अर्थशास्त्र विषय में 383647 छात्र पास हुए, जिनमें से शीर्ष 1/8 (लगभग 47956) छात्रों को A1 ग्रेड मिलेगा।

निष्कर्ष:

रिलेटिव ग्रेडिंग प्रणाली में एक छात्र को दो अलग-अलग विषयों में समान अंक मिलने के बावजूद अलग-अलग ग्रेड मिल सकते हैं। यह पूरी तरह से उस विषय में पास हुए छात्रों की संख्या और उनके सापेक्ष स्कोर पर निर्भर करता है।

Online Training on Media & Information Literacy

Media literacy empowers students to apply critical thinking to media messages, enabling them to decode and analyze media messages effectively. It involves accessing diverse media sources, understanding the techniques used to influence audiences, and assessing the credibility and impact of media messages and creating their own messages. Media literacy helps us to understand the spread of misinformation by empowering students or individuals to distinguish what is credible from falsehoods. In today’s world, media is an integral part of our daily lives. Nonetheless, many people lack the knowledge and critical thinking skills required to understand and interpret information, and some are unaware of how media sources influence their opinions and decisions. Reviewing media literacy definitions, terminology, and real-world examples can help one improve their ability to decipher meaning. In fact, it is almost impossible to imagine modern education without an important component like media literacy.

CIET-NCERT organizes a 5 hours training series on Educational Technology in the third (English version) and fourth week (Hindi Version) of every month. For the month of August, 2024, a 5 hours online training on “Media & Information Literacy” from 19th – 23rd August 2024 in English version and 26th – 30th August 2024 in Hindi version from 4.00 pm – 5.00 pm will be organised.
